Is it safe to eat corn starch ?????? Im craving it REALLY bad but im not sure if it's good to eat its almost making ne want to cry

No it's not ok. I just read that craving cornstarch is a form a Pica and you need to contact your doctor. They said although cornstarch is safe in small quantities, eating it can cause serious problems. They said craving cornstarch and flour is a form of Pica and you need to contact your doctor as soon as possible so they can handle it.

Sign of anemia.  I would talk to your doctor about it. Not sure if it is safe.  Read somewhere that it MIGHT cause miscarriage.  Try ice chips (people with anemia crave this to sometimes) might work as a substitute until you talk to your doctor.  Plus ice won't have any negative effects.

Corn starch? That's a weird craving. I don't think corn starch is unsafe but I'd tell your doctor about that asap. My doc said if I had any weird cravings to let her know. Sorry I couldn't help more Sweety. I'm trying to find info for you right now.

Why would u eat plain corn starch? An no I don't think it's bad you should be fine...
