antibiotics and prenatals?

Is it safe to take antibiotics and your prenatals?

Its should be absolutely fine all it is, is just extra vitamins we don't consume in food so I can't see it being bad considering you'd eat the same vitamins if we didn't have the tablet. If that makes sense? :)

My doctor just never said if it was safe or not to be taking both, I don't take them at the same time but I just wasnt sure if I should stop the prenatals while im on the antibiotics or if im ok to continue both

Yeah I found I had a bladder infection so she prescribe me some antibiotics that I take twice day but I also take my prenatals

Only if the antibiotics have been prescribed by your doctor. There are safe antibiotics for pregnancy but you should only be taking them if the doctor has given them to you.

You should ask your doctor.  That is definitely a question the average person shouldn't answer just to be on the safe side. I would imagine it would depend on the type of antibiotic and type of prenatal.
