Few months ago a lady posted...a helpful way to brush your teeth without all the nausea and puking...it actually helped a lot....use very little toothpaste. .don't lean over the sink..stand up straight...and smile while brushing your teeth....I did it and actually stopped puking while attempting to brushy teeth...hope this helps

I'm anemic and have low iron so my gums bleed just by touching them lightly with the toothbrush or even my finger.. they bleed a lot.During 10 and 11 weeks, brushing my teeth made me gag to the point where I couldn't stop so I eventually puked. If you have a gag reflex,it becomes extra sensitive while pregnant.

My first trimester was awfuuuul with this. The only times I've thrown up this pregnancy is because of gaging from brushing my teeth. Its gets better as you get further along, but I still carefully brushy teeth.

Yes i don't always throw up but most of the time I do :/ & yes I heard that our gums get more sensitive & can get gingivitis so we need to brush. I am currently using Colgate & listerine. What do you use??

I used to throw up every day when I brushed my teeth. For some reason brushing them in the shower seemed to help and I have no idea why. It eventually went away buy I was pretty miserable for a while.

This happened to me at around 10 weeks. Your gums get super sensitive just get a softer toothbrush and try different toothpaste until you find the one you can tolerate
