at a loss of what to do. Suggestions?

so I'm 40 weeks tomorrow and I was planning to work this week and start my maternity leave next week.
I got a call from my work on Friday saying that they don't want me to continue to work as they're worried about mine and bubs health and safety, although I've had a perfect pregnancy thus far.
So I've been on official leave for 2 days and I'm really struggling trying to find something to do with my time.
The nursery is done, the house is cleaned from top to bottom, everything has been reorganised in the cupboards, hospital bags are packed...
I don't know what to do to keep my mind occupied?
I'm not one to sit down and do nothing so I'm at a loss.

Any suggestions as to what I could possibly do to make the time pass until bub comes?

Thanks mamas.

I suggest starting on pages in your baby book.  Getting some layouts done now will be a blessing that first few weeks when you are exhausted from taking care of baby.

I'm the same way! I'm only 20 weeks but I've been staying home since I found out I was pregnant. My boyfriend wanted me to stay home and have some time before the baby gets here and all my time is completely consumed. Everyday its the same thing.. Clean, cook, shop, organize. It gets pretty boring haha but I guess I should take advantage of this time while I have it.

Yes!!! There are so many things:)
If you have energy and want to be busy (sounds like you may be a checklist girl) go xmas shopping for your ma, sister, mil, bro, hubby... you may not want to later.

Prep family meals... brown meat for tacos, hit up costco for snacks, drinks, ive heard buying some paper products for the first month is nice bc it cuts back on dishes.
Get your hair cut/colored. Nails done. Get waxed. All fun self care things;)
Do you have any pets? Take them to parks, the vet if they need nails clipped...
Plan a romantic dinner for you and your partner.
Even a picnic is awesome.
Get a head start on bday cards for family. Even just buy, address and stamp em.
Have you been to the dentist, eye dr?
I could go on. Maybe take a nap!

Read up on Breast Feeding! If this is your first, and you are going to beat feed, I highly recommend knowing more about it BEFORE baby comes. I took a class but they did not go into what to do if things aren't going well....I had C section and was drugged when told I had invert ir shy nipples, baby was tongue tied, we had to use nipple gaurd and finger feed and tgen, they had me start pumping 2nd day and bottle feed breast milk to ensure he was getting all he needed. I went home from hospital overwhelmed and under informed!

Watch You Tube Videos ir read American Pediatrics Guide to Raising Small Children to prepare for next phase
