I'm on my 7th month, and sleeping on my back is difficult for me. Doctor say's that sleeping on the left side is best since it allows better oxygination to the baby and better distribution of nutrients to the baby.
I am seven weeks and I used to only ever sleep on my back and belly but when I got pregnant I started waking up with cramps in the night. Laying on my side would make them go away and now I sleep comfortably on my side through the night.
I slept on my back and belly when I was pregnant with my daughter. She is 8 months now and doing fine. As you start to show your body will adjust.
I sleep on my back and my son is fine. (: Also sleep on my sides sometimes. Whatever is comfortable.
I laid on my back and even my belly until I started to show and then my body just like naturally stayed on my side once I was big n starting to show. dont worry about it sleep how your comfortable for now
Sleeping on your side is not necessary early on in your pregnancy. It is best to not lie flat on your back later on.
You can lay and sleep anyway that's comfortable. When your belly gets bigger your body adjusts to the way it will sleep.
