Sleeping Issues.

I am 10 weeks and I heard you are supposed to lay on your side while pregnant but I just cant I steady wake up and realize that I am on my back again. Will this hurt thr baby? Can you lay on your belly? Any medicines that help invoke sleep?

I'm on my 7th month, and sleeping on my back is difficult for me. Doctor say's that sleeping on the left side is best since it allows better oxygination to the baby and better distribution of nutrients to the baby.

I am seven weeks and I used to only ever sleep on my back and belly but when I got pregnant I started waking up with cramps in the night. Laying on my side would make them go away and now I sleep comfortably on my side through the night.

I slept on my back and belly when I was pregnant with my daughter. She is 8 months now and doing fine. As you start to show your body will adjust.

Sleeping on your side is not necessary early on in your pregnancy. It is best to not lie flat on your back later on.

You can lay and sleep anyway that's comfortable. When your belly gets bigger your body adjusts to the way it will sleep.
