baby movement

I'm a ftm and yesterday was my 14 week check up and my doctor told me I should start feeling movement soon, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what to expect, or what it might feel like?

It can take anything up to til the 22/23rd week to feel movement,some do feel it earlier than that,at first it feels like flutters in your stomach and as the weeks go on the kicks will get stronger

With my first two pregnancies I felt movement between 15-17 weeks. With my oldest I was listening to music in my car and she would start moving. She still loves music and dancing to this day. With my second I didn't feel her until 17 weeks. To me it feels like a bunch of tiny bubbles popping inside my tummy. It's usually like a little burst and they start becoming more frequent.

I didn't feel anything till 23 weeks and it felt like,gas like u had to fart

I didn't start feeling the baby til week 21. I'm in week 23 and she is flipping and kicking. People say it feels like gas.... it doesn't!

With my first 2 I felt movement earlier like 17/19 weeks with this one my 3rd I'm 22weeks today and just really felt her last night

@morganeva who are you to say it does or doesn't feel like something?! Every pregnancy is different and last time I checked none of us including you are any kind of expert. For me when I felt the first movements around 20/21 weeks it did feel like I needed to pass gas but soon realized that was my baby. Her movements changed and now obviously feel a lot different, but I certainly don't appreciate you acting like you know it all.
