So I have my daughters name picked out already. Her name is gonna be Jade Lennox. Its pretty set in stone. My dad however doesn't like it and calls it a "stripper name" or calls her dishes cause apparently Lenox (not lennox) is a dish brand. I am 35 weeks 36 on Monday Feb16th an the middle name is subject to change, but what do ya'll think of Jade Lennox?

My dad saying he doesn't like it and gonna call her dishes isn't a big deal to me. He has his own names for all his grandkids an honestly I dont know how he keeps up with them cause Jade is grandbaby #11. I was just asking if its a good name. I am naming heralone and I go back an forth between Jade Rayne and Jade Lennox.

You definitely have the right to name her whatever you desire....but I agree with dad....lol its kinda stripper-ish.....IN MY OPINION. I love Jade though. Whatever you decide, just be sure its what you want, screw what anyone else says.

It does sound like a stripper name, but that's just an opinion just like your dad's. Respect it and move on cuz at the end of the day, its your baby, you're raising her, not anyone else and you should be the only one with the last word on the name.

We had problems because our boy name we chose was Shaemus.  75% of people hated it. I really didn't let it bother me. We are having a girl and her name will be Kyra.  I think the name you picked is beautiful!  And really how often will dad be saying her middle name? Don't change it for him.

I love it. I would just ignore him. My grandmother hated my daughters name (kaylee) until her husband went off on her about how her opinión doesn't matter lol now she tells me she likes it

My 2 year olds name is Olive and my mom and grandparents still dont like it.  They call her Liv.  This time around i am not really telling them our name choices. Keeps their opinions at bay.  Not that we have any boy names in mind! Naming a human is hard!

I think it's your child so in the end it's nobody's decision but the people that made that child. I love my dad more Than anything but if he didn't like my daughters name I would tell him too bad. I think your daughters Name is beautiful. Don't let anyone make you feel like you have to change it
