Like lock23 said, in case of a mc, I would've wanted the supoort of our families and close friends. It would probably come out anyway to those people anyway at some point.

We told our immediate families (and I'm a teacher, so I told my aides at school in case I was sick/moody/exhausted) pretty early on. Our families knew by about 6 weeks, and we started telling close friends after that. We waited to share anything publicly until after the first ultrasound at almost 11 weeks.

I told my family and close friends. Ive had 2 mc before and its always good to have the support if something does happen.  I feel silly holding it back bc of being afraid of having a miscariage again. Cause if that does happen, fingers crossed it wont cause its an awful feeling, i would want there support.

I have always waited until after I was 12 weeks. Because I am high risk of something happening. I have been pregnant 9 times and have 5 kids and number 6 due Here in just a few weeks.

I try to wait until the beginning of the second trimester just so that it's out of the 'scary phase'

We always tell people right away. On number 3 now (4 counting our miscarriage). We are always too excited to wait. We had a miscarriage before our first was born and it was hard telling people we miscarried but it was good for the support too.

I told my husband, mother,  and 9 year old daughter right away. I then couldn't contain my excitement anymore so I spilled the beans to pretty much everyone via social media etc within my second month.  I'm glad I did because I was having complications and it was a sense if relief to have my mommy friends there with support and advice. Everyone is different when they spill the beans. Either way congrats!  Enjoy and it's an exciting time ♡
