So I have this insane fear and anxiety that no one will show up to my baby shower, and I won't get anything I need. I checked my registries online and nothing has been bought. Is this a irrational fear??

Not many people got things off my registry!    Or maybe the store didn't take things off when they were supposed to.  Don't stress!  I ended up getting mostly everything I need.  I did get some duplicates and things I didn't want, I just took them back and got store credit

No one showed up for my baby shower for my son, so I didn't have anything I needed. This time, since I'm having a girl, I've got stuff from prevous pregnancies and am going to have a welcome baby party instead. If no one shows up just enjoy your time out and relax!

Sometimes people will buy what's on your registry and forget to tell the cashier that its a baby shower gift so it won't get checked off of your list. ... and alot of people are last minute when it comes to getting the gift. ...or they may just get you a gift card!  Don't stress, it's not good for the baby:)

My baby shower is Saturday as well I feel the exact same and I will be really embarrassed if no one shows up but I did not plan it so if that happens it won't be on me..!!but I hope people come

Oh yes. I feel the exact same! My baby shower is Saturday, I have had a few people confirm they are coming, but nobody has mentioned buying what I actually NEED. (the stuff on my registries). Having a little anxiety attack as well. just gotta remind myself to enjoy it, whether 1 person shows up, or 10 :)
