Baby flipping/dropping

Is the dropping process over a couple weeks or does it just happen and they h just drop? How would you know? My stomach is looking wider and I don't know if that is my son beginning to flip. Any suggestions or ideas? FTM 31+2

Any suggestions? Or ideas on how I can tell. Cause I realized by pictures that my stomach tripped in size in a matter of like 3 at tops 4 weeks

Well I don't really have breasts like most women and it's hard for me to tell that way but last night my stomach seemed really wide and this morning it seemed straight... could that be him flipping?  I have smaller breasts than most women, so how would I be able to tell if I don't have that benifit?

My baby has been head down in the same position at every scan and app (I'm high risk so have apps every 2 weeks) since my abnormality scan at 22wks! I don't think I have ever felt her flip
Someone told me about 3 weeks ago that it looks like she has dropped and that's when acid reflux started to go away, I could breathe a bit easier and eat a bit more
Her bottom is around my belly button now which is also confirmed by my midwife
I am 35 weeks today x

Every one of my babies (on my fifth) had dropped overnight and about 30-33 weeks. My oldest did it while I was laying in the tub enjoying a warm bath. I had enough time to call her dad in and he said it was the weirdest thing he'd ever seen. Her face was literally against my skin for a second or two.

Ok :) I'll be asking my doctor what she thinks. Thank you! :-)

Babies can be low for weeks. Doesn't mean they will be born early. You'll feel increased pressure down low. Not everyone feels their baby turn but my son was at 36 weeks when he did so not much room. My belly stuck straight out for several minutes and I was so uncomfortable. Then he turned head down. Only one of my four though that I felt flip.

So the only way to be confirmed is with the doctor? How does it feel really when flipped and dropped? And my stomach looks lower but everyone shoots me down saying that it's to early for him to drop and negative stuff so I worry more about the new areas I'm feeling him move.

My youngest son flipped head down while I was in the car. I remember I couldnt breathe cause he was in my ribs and I was thinking what is this baby doing. Doctor had confirmed that next week that he in fact had turned. They can move down very quick also. Some are low for weeks though.
