Braxton hicks is just false contractions. Feel very similar to real ones, think period cramps on steroids and that's what contractions feel like. But Braxton hicks is not as strong and dont happen as often. And yes they can start as yearly as 20 weeks. And don't apologize for having questions its the only way to learn. Try resting on a heating pad to help you back, 30 minutes on 30 minutes off

Sadly yes and it can last till you give birth. It can be caused by your hips shifting, where baby sits, Braxton hicks, and many other things. Also around this time a lot of women experience pain in the pelvic region also just as a heads up
