Thanks everyone I feel much better about it (:y'all are awesome
Hey, I got the same call a couple weeks ago. I had Group B strept. It's apparently quite common in pregnant women and it's really nothing to worry about, at least that's how my doctor made me feel. Quoting from "Preparing for a healthy baby" book, "usually does not cause any danger to a woman's health ... [but] can be passed from the pregnant mother to the baby during the birthing process and can make the baby seriously ill." So make sure you take those antibiotics and drink lots and lots of water while you're on them. My OB said he would treat it while I was in the laboring process too, if necessary. Hope this helps!
Just drink lots and lots and lots of water and u will be out of danger even before the antibiotics start their work :-) best of luck.
I am actually a nurse and uti's are very common in females in general
Yes please water really helps !! Drink plenty ! Good luck
I have had a uti with this baby and ecoli with my last baby and was given antiniotics with both. I didnt worry about either since it was detected and the antibiotics that were given worked.
I'm not a water drinker either I'll be 32 weeks on Wednesday. I decided to start drinking nothing but water from here on out.
Ive had 2 and im 35 weeks... im not a.water drinker so that contributes to it.. drink lotsssss of water but from what the dr says its common and just make sure you take all your antibiotics because if u dnt take care of it worse case its preterm labor... i have stayed at the hospital for uti ...
Yea I had one nd im 61/2 months they are very common
