My back is hurting really bad.. Standing up, sitting, laying down. Nothing helps. It feels numb since it hurts so bad. Also my stomach keeps getting really tight and hard. What is this?

That sounds like how I was the night before I went into labor. There was relentless back pain and lots of Braxton Hicks. Next day I went into labor and had my son.

The back pain is non stop. Doesn't even let up for a minute. But the tightness in my belly happens every like 15 minutes. Thank you for all the info and advice! If this back pain doesn't ease in the next hr I think I'm gonna go right to l&d

Ya some labor is felt more so in the back instead of the front. I've heard back labor is more painful than the front labor. All my pregnancies I've felt in the front. I can't imagine what the back labor would feel like. What you should do is time your contractions. Write down what time they happen and how long they last. Then you have a log for you and your doctor. If the contractions start getting g closer together like around 5 minutes apart and last about 45 seconds long then I'd  definitely call your doctor or head to the hospital

My doctor did tell me two weeks ago that my little boy was ready and fully developed. I still get worried about him :/ my doctor is surprised I'm even still pregnant. He was convinced my water was gonna break last week

Yes he would. My water broke with my second and she was almost 37 weeks. Just shy by 3 days. They kept her in nicu unit for 12 hours to see if she had any problems and she did great. Was super  healthy. Sometimes the little ones plan to come a little early but with the medical science they have today they can ensure that baby will be as healthy as can be.

37 weeks is officially full term so he'd be okay if I were to have him in the next couple days, right?

Since your 37 weeks. You could very well be going into labor. I had my first child at 37 weeks and 2 day. I had my second at 36 weeks and 4 days. My other two were at 38 weeks. My 5th baby I'm hoping to make it closer to 40 weeks but were only 36 weeks right now so who knows.

How many weeks are you? If you're in a lot of pain and if it feels like you're contracting you should definitely call your doctor. You could never bother them. Thheir job is to make sure you and baby are doing good and are healthy.
