Absolutely, yes!!! They are extremely convenient especially if your like myself and breastfeed. Co sleeping is very dangerous and carry to many risks!! So therefore a bassinet is awesome!! You can roll it along with you anywhere you need to go :-)!! Depending on the model and brand you buy, they actually can be used longer then 3 months. A wood based bassinet are more sturdy and can hold up to 25 pound baby. Although it's a good idea to put your baby in his/her crib during the day for a nap or two, so that your baby isn't a difficult little Angel to actually move to his crib as he/she grows. I say, most definitely...buy a bassinet!!!!!!
Yes I think it is a great idea for the first few months. I plan to get one. But always remember which ever works best for you is what you should consider specially when it comes to space and your convenience.
Moses baskets are similar to a bassinet. The idea is the same but usually the moses baskets come in 2 pieces (the basket and the base, not sure if that true in the UK). Bassinet is basically the same thing but it's just one piece, you can't take the top part off of the base. But same thing for me as above, we will be using a bassinet at the beginning. Helps with those last night feeding and I feel better having her closer to me
I'm fromy the UK & I have no idea what a bassinet is. It sounds like a musical instrument (hehehe) I'm guessing it's not because nobody would put a baby in an instrument.
We have a thing called a Moses basket to put babies in to sleep, is it just another name for that?
I'm just gona put her in the crib when she's born. Mainly cause her wight. Her estimate weight is 9/10Pounds. Bassinet holds up to 12. So I asked my doctor and they said its safe. That bassinets are usually for convenience for u.
Yep that's what I plan on doing :)
Yeah that's what we did and will do again this time.
Yes absolutely! That's what most people do!
