I just got told very rudely my husband and my brown eyes are deformity and colored eyes are superior?
Seriously how freaking rude! I love brown eyes!
My family has predominately colored eyes so i grew up used to them, Brown eyes are different to me and i think my husbands eyes are Beautiful I'm very upset

I'm obsessed with eye color. I think eyes are all so beautiful. My family and my husband's family all have blue eyes, but I've always loved brown eyes! You can wear greens, purples, golds, pinks, the list goes on of pretty eye-shadows! I know that's random, but it's true :)

What these people said! Brown eyes are the "ancient" eye color. Blue is a genetic mutation. I have blue eyes, my husband brown. All four of our children are blue eyed. Eye color is now known to be much more complicated than dominant/recessive. That person shouldn't spout such garbage on a topic they are so obviously undereducated in. Genetic variation is so amazing and beautiful. The blending of my spouse and I has the potential for any combination of blue/green/brown/etc and blonde/brown/red/etc and I would be incredibly excited at any and all of it. Forget them and their hate.

i LOVE brown eyes. my eyes are green. but my dads eyes were brown and i was so upset that i didnt get his brown eyes :/

Just recently read in a scientific article that blue eyes, which I have, are actually a genetic mutation. That's right, I am a mutant. Brown eyes are from the beginning of mankind itself. That person didn't know what they were talking about. We are the odd balls to the natural order of things. Lol

Brown eyes are a "dominant" trait in genetics. And technically, blue eyes are considered a genetic mutation because they are mostly "without color". Someone else's ignorance shouldn't upset you. Regardless what your babies eye color is you will love it all the same:-)

I have very dark brown eyes bc my dad's family is part indian (country) and not to be conceited but I think I have beautiful eyes lol and I love brown eyes! Forget those ppl lol

Yeah, that was rude, and untrue. God wired everyone with genetics in our dna and the genes that make up a baby are a God selected combination of which dna the father and mother contribute to it. It has nothing to do with deformities or superiority. I love all the individuality everyone has in their genes! Especially when an unexpected color pops up. I know a girl whose entire large family is blond hair and blue eyes. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Her husband is Samoan with dark features, too. Yet her second son is a total blondie with stunning blue eyes, just like her family. So fun. :)

It was terrible and on top of it we weren't even talking about eye color! We were talking about parents, grand parents, responsibility etc. And then they said "you guys get that ugly brown eye deformity from your moms, we all know colored eyes are the better looking ones, i would hate to be the one with brown eyes"

I think brown eyes are gorgeous,  my family mostly has blue aside from me and my mom who have hazel. My first daughter has blue as well but I'm hoping this baby will have hazel or even brown :)

I have milk chocolate brown eyes,  and I'm Italian.  Brown eyes to me are the best
thing in the world and I hope my baby has them. Tell people like that to keep ugly comments like to themselves, because upsetting a pregnant woman or new mom is the worst sort of bad juju.

I have brown eyes as well and in certain lights I have a gold tint to them. I'd be very very upset if someone told me that. You have a right to be angry
