bathing my dog ?

Is it bad to bathe him
He's an outdoor dog & has some fleas
He needs a bath so they can die with the shampoo.
My hubby did it 2wks ago before he left on deployment but yeah its time again & I don't have anyone who is willing /:

Oh yea you should be good! I have a few dogs did you know you can get a one time flea treatment pill from the vet here in Canada it's like $15 and I didn't need to make an appointment they just passed it over and fleas were gone!

I bathe my dogs with baby shampoo but I'm 35 almost 36 weeks pregnant and I bathe my 65lb lab 55lb pit and 40lb pit. They all cooperate in the shower for me though. Also I have a shower seat and I use the shower sprayer. If you're not comfortable take them to the groomer. I've been bathing my girls this whole pregnancy with no problem.

If u use the correct flea treatment from the vets not the shampoo it wouldn't have fleas
Flea shampoo doesn't kill the fleas in the beds etc
U need frontline advocate asvantage etc to kill them

It is safe to bath a dog
I have 4 and bath them all the time

More like sitting in a chair outside while washing dog. As long dog doesn't resist to much. Don't strain yourself.  But honestly if you can afford it take dog to groomers.  And yea get flea treatment for dog.

Yeah I'd say wear gloves if you are worried about the flea shampoo or something, and squat rather than bending over - its easier on your lower back (:

Its fine, if anything just wear some gloves for protection from flea bites. Take care

Also, is take into consideration how far along you are.

I'm only 28 weeks but that doubled with the fact that I already had a bad back, it kills me to bathe my dog and she's only a damn 9 lb yorkie. Lol. But she's also bell bc she hates bathes.

If he's calm during baths I'd do it. If not, or you're unsure, take him to a groomer if that's a possibility for you. And also, if you can afford to, look into getting a flea pill from the vet for him.
