You can get pregnant when breastfeeding, fyi. Do some research on it. It's not quite as soundproof as you'd think. My husband and I use Natural Family Planning: a combination of the rhythm method, basal body temperature, and cervix changes. It's never failed us. We didn't get pregnant when we were avoiding it, and became pregnant in one cycle when we wanted.
The best part about these methods is that, when used properly, they're just about as effective as birth control. Also, you get to know your body really well. Literally, I can tell when I'm ovulating just from the changes in my body.
BUT, they're a lot of work, and if you're not diligent, you'll likely get pregnant. They require lots of communication with your partner, need lots of research to be done properly, and the willingness to chart and listen to your body every day.
However, we've found it's totally worth the efoort. It makes you closer with your partner, and allows you to have sex unhindered. Plus, it's free! All of the women in my family have major adverse reactions to contraceptives, and the more we learned about them, the more we also decided we couldn't use them for religious reasons. So, we've found the hassle is totally worth the benefits.
Sorry for the novel. Just wanted to share my experience. :)
Yea he said somethin about getting fixed XD i would be fine with that but we arnt sure if we want another or not yet so i wouldnt want him getting somethin permanat for a few years... plus we r both to young that drs around here wont fix you till your like 25 or older or have 2 or more kids :/
Than maybe ur hubby or SO should think about it.... there is birth control for men as well, that way you can breastfeed and not worry about getting pregnant
*shot...not pill...sorry.
I also dont trust pills since i got prego while taking them faithfully. I met a young woman who got pregnant on the 5 year deppo shot..she was 3 years into the pill. Talk to your doctor or conduct your own research online..best wishes.
I knew that but i really dnt wanna get prego agin... ever and if i do atleast not right away
