Irritated

My family wants me to name my daughter Malaina Jo after my mom and my great grandma. I personally HATE that name. It makes me think of a 50 yr old women who doesn't have all her teeth and addicted to meth. My parents keep telling everyone that's her name and its so irritating i really
Dont like that name and refuse to name her that. Everytime they say it i get soooo frustrated and stressed out. What do i do ladies /:

Ask them if their the ones carrying the baby or giving birth to her, They have no say on your choice of the name that's YOUR baby not theirs.

Name your baby what you want. Simple.

Maybe meet them half way and it could be her middle name. I know family can be stressful but its still family.

Good luck!

If you are happy with your own names then thats all that matters. They really shouldn't be pressuring you into any names. You are the mommy to be and shouldn't have to deal with the stress of the name of your baby. Stay positive and just ask them to drop the subject you've made your decision already and they should be supportive of that. Good luck girly! :)

All that matters is that you like the name. They really don't have a choice in the matter because this is your baby. You're the one that will be taking care of the baby and calling her name the most, so all that matters is whether you like the name

If you have told them that is not what your naming the baby then there is nothing you can do. Pick a name you like. More important for you to like the name than them.
