I simply stood in the shower and allow hot water to run on my boobs while the milk ran out, I did this for about three days whenever I washed up and by day 4 I had no more milk!!

I advise to breast feed for the first couple of days - the colostrum at the start is very beneficial for the baby. But each to there own :) when I stopped breastfeeding I was advised to express just enough milk to give me comfort, I did this in the shower as the warm water really helped sooth my breasts. It only took about a week for everything to get back to normal.

I found it sooo painful after my first it put me to tears and it took around 10 days for milk to dry up..i was prepared after my 2nd baby though lol..i would strongly recommend you buy a cabbage and pop it in your freezer and after you have your baby put a leaf in your bra,it works great and ease up on the fluids for a few days..i had no pain after doin that just a little tender

I only personally breastfeed for first three days and then it to formula.  Your boobies will hurt but my best advice is to wrap. Wrap them tight for about a week.   Do not let them leak or it can keep producing milk.  Just wrap wrap and tight! They will dry up within a week
