The first few days a baby will cluster feed to get your milk to come in. Both my kids would wake to eat every 15-30 minutes and only eat for 5-10. It will even out to every two hours soon. You can download an app for breastfeeding it will help track.

Your breast should be flat after a feeding, that means baby is emptying it which is a good thing!  My baby feeds about 10 minutes then burps then about 5-10 minutes more and she's done. She only usually feeds on one breast per feeding but not always, and feeds about every 2 hours, sometimes she pushes it to 3-3.5 hours. It sounds to me like you are doing really well and there's no reason to be concerned. But if you are worried I would talk to your doctor or a lactation consultant before you change anything.

That is totally normal that is called cluster feeding! The 2nd night we were in the hospital I was so worried I was doing something wrong because my son nursed ALL night long! Let your little one do this breastfeeding is all about supply and demand so she is putting her order in now for wen your milk actually comes in;) like someone said before her stomach is so small right now like the size of a cherry so she does not need much and she will need to eat every hr and a half to 2 hrs! (Bottle feeding actually leads to over feeding) You're doing great mama! Do not fret breastfeeding is a process the longer you do it the more you will learn dnt turn to the formula jus yet...if you are really worried you can pump for 15 mins after she eats to produce more milk wen your milk does comes in. If you do this I suggest not letting her suck on a bottle but spraying it in her mouth little by little so there is no nipple confusion! You can massage your breat and actually use heating packs (made for the breast) or take a warm shower before hand to release the colustrum/milk easier as well! Make sure she is latched on right but other than that let her suck her heart away and use pure lanolin after feeds but first hand express colustrum/milk frm your breastfeeding and rub it on your nipple sounds silly but does wonders! You can always speak to a lactation consultant as well! Oh and one more awesome thing is that the breast is NEVER completely empty (until your milk dries up of course) like a bottle so dnt worry about running out like I said before the more you let her nurse the more milk you will produce it will get way easier wit time! You can always msg me on here if you have other questions:)

Unfortunately the 1st few days are like that. With my son I would only sleep about 2hrs a day because I would be breastfeeding all the time but it helps your milk increase you'll notice because if you skip a feeding you get really engorged. It's also best to not pump yet because it kinda throws things off a bit. I would wait about two weeks till your breast get a hang on what they're doing then try pumping if it feels like it's not enough. I know how has it is but don't be discouraged it takes time and patience. Most people believe they're babies aren't getting full but you have to remember they only eat about two ounces in the beginning and digest breast milk so much faster than formula because it's not as heavy si they'll be hungry more often.

Like they feel firm then feel.... flat I guess. She was up last night from 3-530 eating. I'd rotate to the next after about 10-15 miss on a side. She would sleep a little in between then wake up hungry...

Are you sure you've run out? Or that baby is still hungry? Try massaging the breast you're feeding on, it will help bring down more milk. Baby's stomach is so small at this point (like a grape) and it can't expand so she only needs literally drops of colostrum.

You can use what breast milk you produce and formula in the same bottle. See if that helps
