I had a c section and my baby was bottle fed on ICU for a few days. I tried breastfeeding him 5 days after delivery, he would get really upset and didnt want to latch because i only had colostrum, not the full milk yet and he got used to the formula. It was a torture for me and for him so i fed him with formula and started pumping every 3 hours even though i'd pump out just a few drops. Two days later my milk fully came in. I still pump and bottle feed him because he still gets really upset when i put him on the breast. I am trying for a little bit few times a day, but i dont wanna torture him . thats my experience, so you just gotta try and dont give up!  good luck!

Also, it would be unlikely for your milk to have dried out so soon. Supply might be low for a while, but if you keep at it and don't supplement, you will catch up to your baby.

Try to milk yourself. Like pinch your nipple and kinda pull on it. If you have a breast pump try pumping a little. My guess is you will still be able to but I'd test it out to be sure.

Just try latching your baby on to produce milk, or try a pump, and if that doesn't work talk to your doctor about taking something to get your glands to produce milk. It can happen!

How do I know if they are? I feel silly because this is my 4th baby but I never had milk actually leak out before so I'm not sure how to tell.

If your breasts are still producing milk then you can still breast feed. A lot of women can't do it from day one because it takes a couple days for their milk to come in so they do both.
