breast feeding??

Hey ladies, this is my first pregnancy and I'm due June 1st. I was wanting to try and breast feed but I have absolutely no idea on what I need. Any advice? Thanks..
I was thinking of getting the twist items, anyone ever used that brand?

A nursing cover is a great thing to have. My first wouldn't take a bottle for anything. So thankfully I have a nursing cover for when we are out and about.

Depending on your insurence...your hospital or insurence company will give you a pump for free...your gonna need a good nipple cream (honestly i use virgn olive oil and coco butter) also you will need breast pads..for leakage. A great nursing bra..and storage bags for when you pump

It's good to get a pump just in case, I'd say. Even if you don't plan on bottlefeeding too much its good to let dad take over a feeding once breastfeeding is established - plus if you are a private person like me you will want to be able to leave the house without being self conscious about feeding the baby in public. Also advice from my cousin who breastfed both her babies - pumping between feedings is really great for establishing a good milk supply c:

Well my fiance tells me that in between i should pump just in case I am away and she gets hungry then if he is there or someone then they won't have to worry, plus freezing breast milk is good up to over a year. I looked at thd twist and really like How it's designed, bag screws to pump, pump, then unscrew bag from pump and then screw bag onto the nipple.

You will need lots of determination and support! If you plan to pump you will need a pump and storage bags. I have heard good things about the twist products. I would look for and join a fb group in your area geared towards breastfeeding support. Really if you don't plan to pump all you need is the boobies!!!
