I have to wait until about a month before I deliver to get one through insurance though right?
If your insurance falls under the affordable care act then you are covered for an electric pump. Call your insurance and ask them which pumps they cover and if you can buy it and submit your receipt for reimbursement or if you need to have a prescription and get the pump from a medical supplier.
As far as i know, most insurance companies cover electric pumps. Ask your doctor about a prescription for one.
My insurance may provide a hand pump but I want an eccentric pump. I'm not opposed to buying one I just want to know what my options are.
If you ask the hospital when you give birth usaly they will give you one that your insurance covers before you leave I was given one with my last child
Call your insurance company. Mine will cover my pump 100%!! I just have to get a prescription from my doctor and go to a medical supply place or go online to the site they gave me. Most insurances will cover them now. However, no one tells you, you have to ask!!!!
