Wow! Respect for all you mamas working so late! I'm 28 weeks and already finding the 12-13 hour shifts I could breeze through a month ago are now taking a huge toll, my feet have been especially bad. Like walking on glass shards after hour 8 or so. Was intending on working to 38 weeks but probably more likely to finish at 36.

I'm a server in a pretty busy restaurant and I will be 42 weeks and being induced next wednesday. I went to work this past monday and have just now stopped working. I felt great though. Still carrying trays of food and working a full shift without any complications. To be honest, if my boss hadn't been afraid of my water breaking at a table, I probably would've worked this week also lol. But 40 weeks and 5 days was still longer than I expected I would make it.

I'm working to I'm about 36 weeks that'll be the beginning of Feb wen I leave.. I'll be 30 tomorrow.. my bf has a great job so we'll be okay.. and plus tax time right around the corner so we'll be good during my maternity leave.. I'm in constant pain everyday anyway so resting for a month or two would be great

I also want to be a pharmacist. How long did it take you to become a pharmacist? And do you know of any good schools that aren't as hard to get into? Sorry to be asking this kind og a question on a pregnancy site.

I am a pharmacist and work 12 hour shift standing the whole time (no lunch breaks either). With my first pregnancy I worked up until 2 days before I was scheduled for my c-section.  I plan on doing the same thing this time. My legs and back hurt by the end of the day, but I want more time off after he is here.

I worked as a waitress. I'm only 10 weeks and my partner told me I didn't have to work anymore. Before he told me that, I planned to work as long as I could. I am extremely fortunate. I'm going to get a part time, job and work as long as I feel good. Something simple and not strenuous. But I will definitely listen to whatever my body tells me.

I work in fast food and it's a busy store, right by the highway, so I'm constantly moving but it keeps me occupied. I'm 37+1wks.  I plan on going another week or two. I was going to try and go longer, but baby is showing signs that he'll be here sooner than expected so we will see!

I'm going to work as long as possible. I manage a women's fashion store, so I am on my feet all day. I am already getting exhausted. So i will just have to see how i go. Are you planning to return to work soon after having bub?
