Bad Cough

Ladies please help im 28 weeks pregnant ive had a cough for over a week now and its not looking like its easing at all in fact its getting worse its keeping me up all night. Ive been docs theyve not helped. What can i take over the counter thats safe?

They should have told you what you should or should not take and they would have gave you a list maybe you can take Tylenol cold and flu will work and it's safe cause I took it when I had the same thing

Thanks hun yeh they didnt say anything just that it should clear up soon. Ill ask about tylenol and will get some. Thanks

My OB prescribed phernergan with codeine for me...they said it's now widely used in OB world for cough.

Not much you can do...  If it's on your chest you should make your doctor do something about it.  Use a vaporiser... That will help wonders.  Sleep as with your chest as elevated as possible to help prevent coughing at night.
