Thanks so much ladies and special thinks too you @athalyah glad u seen this because I've been wondering what that feeling was
All the above answers are wrong lol. I'm a medical student currently working in obgyn office. The butterfly feeling you are having is your uterus expanding to make room for the growing baby and placenta. The feeling is simply your muscles and nerves in the uterus stretching which can feel like a flutter for some women or cramps and straining for others. This is also a very good sign your feeling this because that means your body is working properly to make room for the baby. Congrats! :)
I felt this feeling when I was almost 4 months. People told me all kinds of advice and my doctor said I won't feel the baby until I'm 5 months but turns around and say its different for every mom to be. Im a first time mom. But It was the baby. You'll start noticing it more if you pay attention or if this feeling happens around the same time as the first time. Hope I didn't confuse you
If twins run in your family it could be the babies. If not and if this is your first, it's probably gas or something else. The baby would be too small at 8 weeks and new mommies usually can't feel baby until later.
Your uterus doesn't teach your belly button until 20 weeks. So if your feeling it anywhere but in your pelvis it's probably gas, Muscles adjusting, or just your stomach digesting
Heard if your feeling movement that early that it would be twins. ❤
