c section

Has anyone had a c section in recent years? I'm wondering if the scars are as big as they were years ago, or has medical technology enhanced to the point of being able to leave smaller scars?

I had a csection last year and having my second one later this month. I have a tiny little pencil line thin 5inch horizontal scar that is barely noticeable it is alread so faded. My dr used the glue and dissolvable stitches so no staple bumps. Using the same ob this time so fingers crossed he can do just as good a job.

I'm 12 weeks pregnant and I can't stop spitting. It's so gross to me but this has been going on since I was about 7 weeks. Will this ever end?

Hi :-) . I had a c section last July and shockingly you can't even see a scar, hubby and I still try and search for it as it is super faint and small....almost non existent.  I thought that the scar would be more visible based on it being a deep incision and not to mention I have a caramel red skin tone that i thought would only highlight the scar. So, based on c sections scars of the past that I've seen, I'd have to say that the hospitals have made drastic improvements and the process was a breeze (that was my first time). Best wishes!!! :-)
