You can have a limited amount but you dont completely have to stop. It was my choice to completely stop they say it strips baby of their vitamins and other necessities

You're allowed to have two caffeinated drinks a day... I usually just have one small coffee. Gave up on soda before I even got pregnant.. So I'll have an ice tea if I must have a drink

a cup or two of coffee is safe. and can help with things down the road like headaches and constipation. 32 wks ftm and ive enjoy a coffee or tea once a day. caffeine also helps regulate your blood sugars... its just like anything with pregnancy if there is even a 1% chance it can lead to or cause concern for your pregnancy they say don't do it. every pregnant women i know has coffee. :)

Moderation is key.  As long as you keep your total caffeine intake at or under the daily recommendation you should be fine.

@bebaloveyou Soda has been shown to leach calcium from bones so I avoid it for that reason not so much because of the caffeine.

I was told drinking caffeine puts u at a higher risk for a m/c but I guess it depends on each individual. Personally coffee makes me feel sick when im pregnant.

I think 1 cup a day should be just fine. Caffeine is in so many things though so if ur really concerned then cut out coke, tea and chocolate too :-(

I am only 5 weeks but I'm still drinking coffee and my sister in law who just had her baby drink coffee the whole pregnancy if it makes you sick then you should cut back. Regardless you should start cutting back.. I hate it too haha

It isn't good for the baby, I used to drink a 20 Oz espresso every day, but the Dr said that about the cup of one cup of coffee is okay, as long as you are not exceeding 200mg of caffeine, that applies to tea too. And absolutely no energy drinks. I completely stopped drinking coffee all the way and I was the biggest addict. Lol you can do it
