can i request to be induced?

I haven't had any problems with my pregnancy or anything but would they let me get induced if I asked too? I've had a healthy pregnancy.

No doctors are not allowed to do it unless medically necessary

My doctor let me induce a few days early but I was 3cm and 100% effaced for over a week....he broke my water and I was holding my son a little over 2 hours later.

I was induced for two of my labors. It was so much worse then actually goin into labor my third pregnancy. Naturally going into labor was 100x better!

I wouldn't get induced, I had an aggressive labor that way my contractions started out really painful and I wasn't even dialated that much.

Probably not. Doctors don't like to induce just because you're impatient. It's best to just let them come on their own.

I will not recommend no one to be induced

Really doubt they would let you. No reason to be induced. Baby will come when ready.

Most doctors won'to, especially if you've had a complication-free pregnancy. Its best for the baby to be in there as close to 40 weeks as possible. I've had nothing but problems (vomiting for 7 months, gestational diabetes, anemia, swelling ankles since 15 weeks, bleeding at 20 weeks plus a month of bed rest) and doctor and midwife still won't induce me until after my due date. If you've been complication free, I think you can manage a few more weeks.
