I miscarried my son sometime between 22 and 24 weeks. My best friend lost her daughter at 37 weeks. Yes it happens but it doesn't mean it will happen to you
20% chance to have a miscarriage
After seeing a heartbeat your chances drop to less then 10 percent....after the 1st trimester it drops to less than 5. Chances are in your favor that you'll have a healthy pregnancy. Don't stress. I found that it doesn't help. You'll be great
It drops but you can still miscarry
Generally after you get out of your first trimester and enter the second, your chances of miscarrriage reduce greatly. So I don't really think it depends on when you see the heartbeat as much as how far along in your pregnancy you are.
My doctor told me after the heartbeat is seen ,there is an 80% chance of successful pregnancy
I was preg yrs ago had spotting and cramping and saw heartbeat 6-9wks and a about a wk later another ultrasound w no heartbeat had a misscarraige. Doesnt mean you will or wont. But yes you can see a heartbeat and still loose it.
