Drink lots of water, I used to get them every morning or eat bananas. Water helped me a lot though haven't had them since I started drinking more water.
Oh my gosh don't tell me that its going to get worse. I had a terrible one the other day and thought my leg was going to break in half. I screamed. And was sore for two days. I have always been good with my water intake so i had a few bananas and that helped i guess. But i am so deathly afraid of it happening again. I won't even stretch my legs when i wake up
It got to the point with me that it happened every morning and once I got rid of it I'd have another one a couple secs later, they'd wake me up out of my sleep. There could be other causes for them but I'm not sure, mine was because I wasn't drinking enough water.
Im 29 weeks and I get them at least twice a week. They're horrible. I think they come from the positioning of the baby, if he was to sit on something such as the wrong nerve, it'll cause the Charlie horse.
I got them in the third trimester of my first baby. Everyone said drink more water, easy more bananas. But still didn't help I'd wake up at least once a night screaming. When you start getting one you can keep your leg straight, bend your foot, tilt your toes up towards your chin. It will make it stop almost instantly
I been getting them for a week straight it hurt to walk I will try the bananas and water hopefully it work...thank you
Twice week is nothing!! I get them ever morning and night! I'm really good with my water intake to I usually drink like 3 bottles at dinner alone and 2 for breakfast and more throughout the cause and i love love love bananas! But I still get them and it's terrible !
