I got them in the third trimester of my first baby. Everyone said drink more water, easy more bananas. But still didn't help I'd wake up at least once a night screaming. When you start getting one you can keep your leg straight, bend your foot, tilt your toes up towards your chin. It will make it stop almost instantly

Im 29 weeks and I get them at least twice a week. They're horrible. I think they come from the positioning of the baby, if he was to sit on something such as the wrong nerve, it'll cause the Charlie horse.

It got to the point with me that it happened every morning and once I got rid of it I'd have another one a couple secs later, they'd wake me up out of my sleep. There could be other causes for them but I'm not sure, mine was because I wasn't drinking enough water.

Oh my gosh don't tell me that its going to get worse.  I had a terrible one the other day and thought my leg was going to break in half. I screamed. And was sore for two days.  I have always been good with my water intake so i had a few bananas and that helped i guess. But i am so deathly afraid of it happening again. I won't even stretch my legs when i wake up

Drink lots of water, I used to get them every morning or eat bananas. Water helped me a lot though haven't had them since I started drinking more water.
