Me & my husband have been married for 2 years & together for 5 years... EVERY time we visit his grandmother in Madison, WI, we NEVER stay in the same room. lol Its a respect thing. Its really weird because we are married & now have a baby on the way.. but just respect their concerns or rules. Remember, its just a trip. You'll be in your own bed soon enough! :)

saramay,  go to the Grandmother's house.  I've watched your posts,  and if the grandmother doesn't allow you to sleep in the same bed in her house,  it's okay.

She wants you there,  and that's a good thing.  Connect with her.  You haven't had any support whatsoever from his family at all - although you have your dear grandpa.

Embrace his family,  and agree to their modest rules.  I think they'll like you.
