classes and groups

Due in a few days and someone asked if I took any classes. I realized I haven't and had no interest in taking any. Now am starting to wonder if i missed out on anything being that I am a FTM. Anyone else skipped the classes/groups?

I didn't take any with my first and don't plan on it this time either. There is a class they offer kids to teach them to help change diapers, feed the baby, et...thought about putting my daughter in it. She would love it.

Don't worry about it. I'm Hispanic and everyone laughed at me when I said I wanted to go to a class so I did miss out -_- I really wanted to go for the fun of it.
But once your in labor mode your body just knows what to do and the Dr/nurse will all help with positioning and pushing/breathing so I don't think in my opinion the classes are necessary... My greatgrandma said to me you think I took classes to push out 13kids we didn't have that back then ;) lol

I took one child birth preparation class with my first.  It was fine but I already knew most of it from reading about it.
