coffee

Ok. I am 10 weeks pregnant. Can I have coffee? I haven't had coffee since I found out I was pregnant 8 weeks ago? Last night I slept maybe 4 hours and I need to work a 9 hour shift right now.

Please help. If not what can I do to make me stay awake and alert?

Thanks so much! I'm definitely going to need one later. Husband kept me up with his snoring and then my urge to pee every hour. Lol

You can have caffine and lime said above just limit your daily amount to 200mg as too much is linked to low birth weight in babies (this includes coffee, fizzy drinks, chocolate etc).

Up to 200mg/day, which is about 2 cups of coffee. I have a cup every morning and occasionally splurge and have a blended mocha, or a soda. You'll be fine.

You can definitely have coffee, my doctor told me caffeine is okay as long as you keep it to a minimum so the baby doesn't have withdrawals from it when its born
