completely disgusted rant. might be wromg to vent here sorry.

So I've had my mother in law living with us for about three weeks to a month. And I've noticed she's been using MY razors! I knew I only had one head left and I couldn't find it. Today I look at my razor and my new head is on my razor with a forest of hair behind it!! Its absolutely disgusting. She put my last new head on my razor and used it!! My husband doesn't see anything wrong with this!! Call it hormones but does anyone agree with me. Might be the wrong place to post this but I can't vent on Facebook and I needed to vent!! If you read this thank you!!

You should also mention to your husband that though he may not see anything wrong with it. It is proven that women who use razor blades are more susceptible to bacteria because we tend to shave in different areas. We can even infect ourselves by shaving our armpits and then our bikini areas by spreading different bacteria around. Does he really want his mom infecting you while your pregnant. Especially since she didn't even have the decency to clean it?

Nice to know I'm in the complete right here.!when I mentioned it to my husband he just shrugged it off. Defiantly not cool considering the fact she shouldnt even be at our house anymore. She's now living on my couch!! Not paying for **** minus dinner a few nights every few weeks. My costs are going up and I don't see her helping any time soon also considering that she has a job but puts more in her gas tank getting there rather than looking for something closer. Ugh this whole situation just *****. I can't even have sex in my house without feeling adwkard with her sleeping in my living room. Just a crap situation. I can't handle it but can't kick her out!! Gahhh!!

Time to start hiding your stuff. Good luck.

You should hide your razor and the razor heads in your room somewhere...maybe your panty drawer.  And just wait for her to ask about it, or see if she will snoop through all your stuff to fund it... and if she does then tell your husband she is invading your privacy and basically stealing, as well as it being unhygienic for sharing things like that. And let him know that he needs to tell her something or you will, and let him know that you will not be nice about it.

that's just gross. that's just like my MIL using
mine and my fiance's lufa just cause she couldn't find hers. there is such a thing as boundaries and personal hygiene applies there. who knows what kinda germs she could be spreading.

I would purchase a pack for her and let her know these are for her use only and explain that you don't feel comfortable sharing something that's used on private areas with her.

That is not ok.. Especially if she isn't cleaning it after. Maybe talk to her when you're in a good mood. Who knows, she may be very understanding! Either that or just go buy a new razor and keep it hidden. Good luck!

I'd buy yourself a new one. I wouldn't even want it back. Yuck. Poor you. I would be mad to. But probably better to treat yourself a new one you can hide then make fire.

I would not share a razor that is so gross... yuck.. why would he think that was ok... how does he expect you to shave now, I know he don't expect you to use a razor someone else used. He might think it is ok because it's his mom but it's not your mom.. on that note I would not even share a razor with my mom. Sharing a razor is like sharing a toothbrush, would he expect you to share your toothbrush... tell her that is inappropriate and not to use your bathroom stuff and if that does not work get a bathroom caddy and put your stuff in it that way you can take it to the bathroom and back to your room.

Okay thanks moms!! Just making sure I was thinking right. She's living here wasn't supposed to be and hasn't even really paid for anything. I see that she bought herself a razor so why can't she use it!! I'm super upset. This is my house I should be able to keep my products out for me to use. And not have to worry about them being ruined. I'm gonna have to talk to her but I'm so mad it might go badly..ugh!!

No, no. I think that is disgusting!! Its like sharing a washcloth or even a toothbrush.. Throw it away. How doesn't your husband see a problem with that? .. I would have a chat with her and tell her to buy and use her personal hygiene products..

That is disgusting... you don't know if she has any kind of disease or sickness or something that you could get if you both cut yourself... not to mention if there's a lot of hair than it's kinda obvious what she was shaving and that's not Okay.

Oh my gosh, that is so nasty. You should talk to her. And honestly, razors aren't the cheapest thing. I can understand the frustration. Not only did she not ask, she left a mess. You're in the right. That's very inconsiderate of her. So I think you should talk to her, but nicely lol
