Definitely water but i also make oatmeal and shakes with dates and chia seeds on a regular basis. Apples with the peel has good fiber, bananas... try sticking to natural foods as much as possible, much easier for your body to digest! I am a huge fan of whole wheat vs. White anything but i have just read somewhere though that for constipation (especially postpartum) eat white rice because our bodies are going through so much change, again easier to digest. Good luck!
i was in your same situation honestly your so backed up that u need to use a glyseryn suppositor. But make sure its glyseryn DO NOT USE THE ONES WITH MEDICINE IN THEM! This is straight from hurly hospitals mouth! OR use this powder thats called slippery elm it makes your colon slippery! And yes eat prunes i know there not the best but i got these prunes called ones there sun sweet california prunes and there actually verry yummy!! Anyways thess are the things that helped me also TAKE WARM EPSIMSALT BATHS those help ttremendously
Good luck to you girl :)
I drink a cup a coffee a day and it keeps me regular normally I can go days or weeks with out going coffee has been a life saver for me...
Try eat some prunes and drink heaps of water
Eat some fiber bars. Trade your white bread for wheat bread. Drink as much water as you can stand to drink. And keep up with the Miralax.
Have you talked to your doctor? That seems like a long time to be constipated. I agree with the women above drinking at least a gallon of water a day helps
Drink lots of water and try Metamucil. Miralax will actually make things worse if you're not drinking enough water.
How much water do you drink every day? If you aren't drinking about a gallon of water each day that may be your issue. Eat high fiber foods like fruit, veggies and beans. Make sure you are getting probiotics. You can find them naturally in yogurt that says it contains live cultures.
Prunes...I was constipated for about 3wks as well and nothing was helping until I forced myself to eat a cpl prunes
