contractions not dilated

I've been having contractions for the past two days & yesterday I went to the hospital & they gave me a shot to slow them down, but I'm not dilated at all but when they checked me they could feel my babies head down there already. Anyone else have this going on or know if its a sign of labor coming on. BTW. I'm only 28 weeks.

That did a swab to see if my water broke, & they did another test to see if I would go into labor early, but they didn't send that test since im not dilated at all.

Maybe you need to take it easy. They did a swab on vagina to see will I deliver the 2weeks after that. Did they do that

I'm trying to keep her in, but they only gave me one shot. Not 3.

At 28 weeks, you don't want to be dilating. Keep that baby in there for as long as possible.

Yes I had the same shot at 28 weeks but I dilated 11/2. They put me on strict best rest for it. My baby is also very low. Did they give you 3shots to stop them
