contractions..?

I'm 34 weeks 1 day and I'm a ftm, I've been having actual contractions for the past week. I've been to the hospital twice but they sent me home. I'm just wandering if anyone else is going through this.? They hurt pretty bad. And they checked me at the hospital and I was dilated to 1/2.

Lol. I can't wait for my little girl to be here, whenever she decides to be. (:

Your body is preparing! Probably dilating more and thinning out! That would be my guess. I heard contractions become regular at about 3 or 4 cm dilated. Or when your water breaks. And I will tell you what. Being 2cm dilated and my water rupturing these contractions are awful!!! Once that water breaks it's on lol.

They hurt and the nurses at my hospital told me they were real ones. They come every few hours or so though. I get Braxton hicks too but I can tell when they are real because they hurt. Idk this is my first baby so Heck I'm not sure lol

I went through this. I went to the hospital for contractions on Friday and they sent me home bc nothing was happening to my cervix. Then 8 hours later my water ruptures. I'm only 30 weeks. So I was transferred to another hospital and been admitted since Saturday with absolutely no clue on when he is going to make his arrival..

I get braxton Hicks contractions but not the real thing. Are you sure there not bh? Bh don't dilate you but real ones will. Are they sporadic or evenly spaced apart?
