Eggless cookie dough is in the ice cream and other stuff and it's safer but still be careful because I read that raw flour in cookie dough can still make you sick. I love raw cookie dough but stopped eating it when I got pregnant.

There are eggless recipes that are pretty good...almost like a fudge but tastes just like cookie dough! look up ideas on pinterest. :-)

I was craving chocolate chip cookie dough really bad a couple days ago and my mama told me not to eat it cuz of the eggs :/ I ate cookie dough ice cream instead :p

E colic and salmonella are both serious. Salmonella is not just "a bit of diarrhea" if you test positive for either it must be reported to your local health department and you'll be very sick for some time, and you can still shed the bacteria in your stool for up to 5 weeks.

Yes its ok. Only if it does NOT have eggs in it. I suggest making your own cookie dough so you know what is in it.

If you were concerned about the eggs having salmonella you wouldn't eat them whether pregnant or not.  Many countries easy raw eggs.  The chances are very small.  A bite or two won't do any harm.   Salmonella is food poisoning. A bit of diarrhea won't hurt you or baby. America has everyone's panties in a bundle over it. Your way more likely to get ecoli. My mother got that and all most died.

Just as long as you don't get salmonella poisoning it shouldn't have any effect on the baby.

I mean I've been eating it my whole life, cake batter included. I eat cookie dough ice cream too lolz nd my girls are healthy,  currently 34 weeks,  with twins but it might differ from person to person. I'd ask my doc if you're really concerned about it. Good luck.!^.^

No, even if you weren't pregnant it still isnt. Even the outside of the container states "Do not eat cookie dough raw"... etc.
