cross posted... video taping?

So my boyfriend brought up that I should video the crowning and final moments.... I'm not okay with pictures and still feel weird about video recording it... but it's not a bad idea. What do you ladies think? Would you do it?

I'm asking my hospital if they allow it at my appointment tomorrow. ...I guess I might do it if they allow it. He's definitely going to have a view point other than straight forward. I'm not comfortable with so many people already going to be looking at it, but I'll have to get over that. Better to have and able to delete than not and wish I had.... like someone else said.

Hubby recorded our 2nd birth I'M glad he did my daughter gets a kick outta seeing herself enter the world,  I plan to have him record this birth as well after all it's not like ur gonna play the video at a family function or when friends stop by it's for ur own viewing like a keepsake, Of course we all remember our labor a d delivery but I think it's neat to have the actual memory to reflect back on. And really there is no need to be shy on D day because nurses, doctors, some student doctors etc will be all in the room and they are strangers so why not let hubby record if anything let him record from a certain vantage point that he doesn't get ur actual vagina in the video.

For me its bad enough all the doctors and nurses look, now pictures. Oh hellz bells no. I would even have to think about giving my husband written permission to see it live. Not to mention, he would probably be on the floor being resuscitated if he had a looksie.

lol! Im so glad Im not the only one worried about it! All my friends are saying "trust me you won't care who sees what when you are in labor". But I can't imagine being comfortable with anyone looking down there no matter what! Our modesty will truly be tested on labor day.

Personally I dont want to see that lol I told my husband, mom, and sister that I don't want any of them watching down there either. We all just want to see and hold the baby not see how huge its going to open down there lol

Noooo way not in my room! There's a reason I only want my mom and the father there and that's because I don't want anyone else to see my bits! I'm way too uncomfortable with that.

KriCo77 I'm right there with you lol. As far as them allowing it goes, I think it depends on the place and I know you have to have permission first. I'm not the most comfortable when it comes stuff like that lol
