My wife is 19 weeks and she started having contractions lastnight. Is it common and have anyone experience this before.

It could be possible because I started feeling contraction at 21 weeks.  When to labor and delivery and they were real. They gave me magnesium sulfate, steroid injection within my 48 hrs stay.

I had braxton hicks since i was 19 weeks as well. If u are really worried call ur dr and they will do a check to make sure shes not dialating. But i wouldnt worry

There is no such thing as "fake contractions" on the contrary Braxton hicks are contractions they just aren't the ones to make you dilate or anything you should worry about.

More then likely Braxton Hicks contractions ive have had them for months now and im now 38 weeks tomorrow.

I dont think theyre real contractions shes feeling im guessing theyre braxton hicks contractions thats like "fake contractions" i am 22 weeks and i been feeling them and its just the tummy preparing for labor you can google some breathing techniques for her and it will calm her down always works for me goodluck !
