cracking hips

In the past week I've noticed anytime I move my lower back and hips are cracking, like those loud cracks! It happens a lot but it's not painful or anything I just wondered if there's a cause for it? I'm 34 weeks

if it does hurt you could consider seeing a physiotherapist to help strengthen some if the muscles around your hips and pelvic floor (kegals) to keep them alittle more stable, which is generally why we get alittle sore threw are lower backs and hips as we progress in pregnancy. your ligaments relax so your muscles are forced to stabilize your joints more then they use to so they get fatigued faster. ive found Pilates useful for that reason. also chiropractic has helped me keep balanced since i had sacral illiac problems before. amd massage! im a massage therapist and have treated pregnent women for this issue and get regular treatments myself of course!

just the hormone relaxin at work. your body releases this hormone to make you pelvis ready for delivery. if its pain free i wouldnt worry about it. since the hormone can't target the one area it affects every ligament in your body. so to me its sounds like your sacral lilac joint (where your tailor meets your hip) has alittle more mobility then it did before. so perfectly normal and again as long as its not causing any pain i wouldn't worry. ive had popping like that since 18wks.

I'm experiencing something similar, except it's my pelvis that pops when I'm laying down. My Dr said it was because my sons head is like right on my pelvic bone. I think it was around the same time as you when it started happening and i am now 38 weeks and it's still happening -_-
