I went into the hospital which is a great thing I did. I was dangerously dehydrated along with my sugar being extremely low. Was hooked up to two different ivs for 6 hours! I feel so much better now and am able to keep everything down.thank you ladies!

Yeah you need to go in.  Its better safe then sorry.  Go to a different hospital.  If there isn't anywhere else you can go then just go to the rude hospital because the staff changes at a certain time so you might have a different experience this time.  Go Go Go. Please

I'm only 24 weeks and 5 days and already 60 % effaced... last time I went to labor and delivery though they were extremely rude to me so I'm nervous to go back bc I honestly feel like straight death

First, I would definitely call your doctor if you are throwing up and that is why you are dehydrated. Second, remember that you need electrolytes to rehydrate especially if you have been throwing up. Dehydration can cause preterm labor so I definitely would call your doctor or go in just to be safe. Good luck :-)

Get your iron level checked. Craving water (and/or ice) can cause symptoms of extreme thirst. Until then, continue with increased water intake and watery fruits. If you drink anything with caffiene, stop. Hope you feel better soon.

I'm a ftm so I'm not really sure what labor feels like when you're at that point. All I know is my body is in an enormous amount of pain, my head is killing me, I'm super dizzy, I keep throwing up, diarrhea, I keep blacking out, and I just want to cry bc I feel like I'm dying...

They're trying to stop preterm labor from happening. I've been on prometrium for two weeks now. So I've been having straight contractions for a while. I can't tell if it's the flu, I'm going further into labor, or if I'm really dehydrated...

If you've been sick , maybe drink warm water ? It works for me.   But then again were all different .... Maybe your not dehydrated as you think . like I said it could be a mental thing.  When I get dehydrated I usually feel contractions as if im going into labor .. Have you been feeling contractions ?

DROWN YOURSELF Lol I was the same way until I just drank water with everything.  I am a soda and juice lover but I had to mentally train myself to just drink water. I go through at least a gallon of water a day.  SERIOUSLY.  I know it wont happen over night for you but its seriously needed because if not you'll be taking trips to the hospital like me and they put you on an IV bag which hydrates you (water solution). So every time you think about drinking something make sure its WATER.  Every time you get done with a meal or snack wash it down with WATER ! You'll eventually love water :) (35 weeks + 4 days)
