depression

So I'm in my 12th week and I suffer from depression and anxiety.  I quit taking my meds at the beginning of my pregnancy and I am really struggling with depression.  It's getting back to how I was before being medicated and im not dealing with it well.  Its been a lot worse the past few days. Does anyone have any suggestions about this?

I am a believer in no meds during pregnancy also yet I understand the need for them now. I have had a couple panic attacks and been very concerned with it.  I will only do what my doctor recommends of course.  I was even very hesitant about the idea and even speaking with my doctor about it because I didn't want to be taken the wrong way. I chose to go back to who delivered my first due to only being able to see a nurse practitioner until the third trimester and was very uncomfortable with the idea and her. Even the staff was unwelcoming and actually made it much worse. She didn't even seem concerned with the heart issues that my husband had.  Even though I absolutely hate this other hospital I'd rather have the doctor who is very thorough all throughout my pregnancy. I get to see him in a week.  Fingers crossed and I thank everyone for the input. Its very much appreciated and very helpful!

Please read on the meds doing pregnancy they really are dangerous for some women and their babies. Side effects come later just make sure whateva meds they give u, go online and get reviews.  I am a strong believer against meds during pregnancy unless necessary.

I've been on meds my whole pregnancy for depression I'm currently 39 weeks and 4 days my daughter is healthy. After my husband passed I couldn't get out of bed, cried all day and didn't eat or drink anything putting myself and my daughter at major risk for health problems but the meds do help a lot I still find myself feeling alone n always having the feeling of falling from reality but I'm healthy n my baby is healthy and my kids have a mom again.

Thankyou very much im in a transition between doctors because the one I saw didn't seem to actually hear me and never answered my questions.  So I am going to who delivered my first. I just didn't want to use that hospital again due to having an awful experience, but I'd rather have a better doctor. Ill speak with him as soon as I can get in. I appreciate your response.  My pcp took me off immediately and I know that's unhealthy and can cause complications in general. I was told there was only one doctor near me who would treat a pregnancy with regular meds and he is over an hour away from me.  Almost two.

I also have depression, and have been on meds my entire pregnancy. I am 27+4.
Go see your Dr about this. They say it does more harm not being on meds for depression during pregnancy, because you don't take proper care of yourself. Also your mood affects your baby, and can cause emotional issues for baby later in life.
Take care of yourself! I know it's difficult, but always remember that little blessing inside you!
