I didn't get the medication because my beta levels were too high and I had a higher chance of the shot not working.
I follow up with the surgery next week. Definitely going through the "miscarry" part right now. So I assume my hormones are climbing down.

I had an ectopic pregnancy last year. Had the shot, didn't work and had left tube removed. Was scared of trying again afraid it will happen again and lose my other tube or that I just won't be able to get pregnant. My husband decided to try again this year and got pregnant on our first try! I'm currently 15 weeks and everything is going good. Good luck.

I had to have surgery for an ectopic pregnancy but the pregnancy hormones in my body did not return to normal so I had to go in for several shots.  Did they give you methotrexate?

Hello,  I know this response is a little late.  I just had surgery 24 hours ago for ectopic pregnancy at 7 weeks pregnant.  Have you tried to get pregnant since then?
