failed my glucose test

So I failed my 1 hour glucose test and have to take a 3 hour glucose test next week...what does this mean for me and my baby? What if I fail this one too...even if I pass what would happen?

I just took my three hour last week due to.failing my one hour my ob told me not to worry about it because most people fail their first and I failed my one hour test really bad and I was almost positive that I was going to fail my three hour but it went great and passed. Don't stress too much.

i was the same way, i was worried and asked the doctor a bunch of questions.. she said its not a big deal, if it is high they will just have you change your diet & keep track of you more. Try not to worry though, hopefully everything will ve fine.

I failed miserably my one hour but my 3 hour came back just fine. Don't be nervous. And don't freak out till you know one way or another. Good luck.

Did they say what it could do to the baby? I'm pretty sure I'll fail it again...they keep finding a lot of sugar in my urine. I just don't really know what to do...I've never been through this before and everyone keeps saying "it's no big deal" it just pisses me of cause it's not them going through this crap...it's me so to them it's no big deal.

I had to do the same thing, they told me not to eat after 10 the night before. Only drink water. They took out blood first & then gave me a even sweeter drink. Then they drew out blood three times, the first an hr after the drink the second the hr after that and so on. The doctor said if it were to come up high they would just send me to another doctor to check & help regulate my sugar. Thankfully it came out normal. Bt she said its not much of a big deal its very common for pregnant girls to get this.
