Can i drink water while fasting for glucose test

They should have gave you instructions in mine they said I could not eat or drink including wanter 3 hours before drinking that liquid and I had to fast until after my hour test so bacily I can't eat for 4 hours

Me either. My doctor told me NOT to fast just watch the amount of sugar I consume days before my test

I didn't have to fast at all

Sure..... Nothing else......best bet....is to go to sleep....go as early as the lab open to get it over with. I ate the first time cause it was unbearable...& I had to retake the test.....failed again.....n I didnt eay anything....So it resulted in me having to take the 3hr. Test.....n surely I tested positive for Gestational Diabetes

All you can have is water. Also, I reccomend waiting to take and medication until after your test
