December2014 - you just use baking soda, which you probably have in the kitchen.  Baking soda has an elevated ph (it's basic) and it will help neutralize too much acid in the vagina.  You could try a warm (not hot) bath with baking soda. You could try making a paste and applying to your irritation to see if that helps.  You could also make a solution and douche with it.  I opted for the latter even though I am not a fan of that and it worked great.  Cheap fix and if it works, you will have relief and know what your issue was.  If it doesn't work, you will know you don't have cytolytic vaginosis.

Yeah shaving my vagina hurts or burns because it more sinsitive but if not because of that I have like a Lil imflamate part in my vagina since I lost my mocus plug that seems to be irritating me down there . Buts talk to it about it to your doc if its really getting severe or getting to an issue .

I spend a lot of money with my doctor as well with at the creams! I get mad about it because it seems like his doing nothing about it! I'm going to try what you did.  What kind of soda? Do u rinse off? What do u do?

I suppose it could.  If the irritation gets bad enough, your skin will actually start to "exfoliate" off or you will literally have vaginal skin coming off in small layers.  Could cause clumps and white discharge (or perhaps yellow).  I was spending way too much money going to the doc only to get treatment that never resolved my problem. I got so desperate I started doing a lot of research and discovered cytolytic vaginosis - overgrowth of good bacteria which too much is a bad thing for some women.  These bacteria produce acid and you get too acidic down there.  Cure is simple - higher your ph with baking soda.  I was so desperate and irritated down there that I thought "what do I have to lose?"    I tried a mix of water and baking soda down there.  Almost immediate relief.  It was unbelievable.  Months of suffering.  Over.  I hope this may help someone.

Does it cause yellow stains on your panties?

Look up cytolytic vaginosis.  It's often under diagnosed and can be misdiagnosed as a yeast infection or can happen at the same time.  I had this and curing it was so simple, but took awhile to figure out. It can cause a lot of irritation due to low ph.

Omg really? That's what my doctor told me that it looked like skin irritation. But it seems like NOTHING takes away my "yeast infection". Treatment won't do. Idk what to do. When the doctor checked me it hurt sooo bad!  But it still worries me because he did the test to erasure it's not any type of herpes.
