My husband did the same thing when he found out I was pregnant with our daughter. At that time we were only dating and kinda in a rough place. But I mean men don't know how to react to this kind of news and even when your little one comes out, he's probably gonna be scared of holding him/her and get flustered because its all new to him. Men aren't programmed birth babies which is why I think they react the way they do, especially if its something that wasn't planned between the two of you. Just talk it through with him, let him calm down. It will really help bringing him to the appointments with you that way you guys are going through the pregnancy together. The pregnancy will bring you two together, it did for me. Congrats on your little one!!! :)

It was actually the other way around for me, I was totally freaking out and didn't know what to think and my bf was telling everyone he could, he even told MY mom before I got the chance. And I hadn't even taken the test yet when he started telling people bc he was so excited and just knew I had to be bc of all the changes in me. I was in total denial, but he was right!! Lol.. now though, I'm definitely excited and very happy that I'm having another little girl.

I think it's normal for anyone (mom or dad) to freak out about something like that. Lol.. just give him time for it to sink in and hopefully he'll come around and start getting excited about it.
